It is a full week plus a day since my 2nd chemo infusion. I have turned the corner on side effects! I am HUNGRY and dreaming of my next meal or snack at all times. Mashed potatoes. Mac and cheese. Chips and dip. pizza???

Don's famous crepes!
My life does not revolve around my digestive system and the loo too much any more. I even have my "filter" back (see previous blog post).
This round however I learned about chemo fatigue, I am not a fan. Chemo fatigue is not "cured" by sleep, it just is there ALL the time. It is caused by medication not by being tired. Last night I finally slept 8 hours, the first full night sleep in a week. Late yesterday and today I finally have energy and no chemo fatigue!
I have 13 days of recovery until round #3. I am going to enjoy every minute of this recovery time!

things to look forward to like grand daughter Charlotte's birthday. I can't see her this birthday but I am putting together a package to send. Don and I are going to watch the super bowl or should I say we are going to eat fun snacks, enjoy the commercials and half time! Then of course there is Valentines Day.....
looking forward to making my next round of cookies from my "Good Grief Bakery"
I am thankful for YOU. Reading this and traveling this journey with me!.
